Computer Lab Expanded to 12 Student Stations!

Our computer lab, Communications 11, now contains two brand new Six-Core Mac Pro edit stations in it, growing the total numer of student workstations to 12. The new stations are labeled #8 and #9. These stations are FAST!

Final Cut Pro X Video Tutorials!

UPDATED: With the adoption of the new Final Cut Pro, version X, the F&DM department has made available to students video tutorials in the computer lab (room 11). Basic FCP X Tutorials are available on stations 2 through 5 by opening iTunes and playing them within. A more comprehensive suite of advanced tutorials are also available on stations 8 and 9, which includes tutorials for Motion, Titles, and Color Correction.

Voiceover Room Now Available!

The Voiceover room features a RØDE NT2000 Large diaphragm condenser studio microphone with attached pop filter and reflexion filter. This mic system is connected to Apple computer through a Apogee Acute 2 device for a direct-to-computer high quality voice recording environment.
