Lowel Lobo (F1-30) Bracket

The Lowel Lobo Bracket allows lighting-control hardware to be affixed to most general-purpose stands. Its principle function is to mount lighting umbrellas, gel-frames, or flags onto lighting and C-stands, and may be used to physically attach additional types of lighting-control equipment as well, depending on need.

Because the Lobo Bracket mounts to the stand instead of the instrument itself, it allows various types of lighting-control hardware to be universally utilized in conjunction with all models of lighting instruments — — making the Lobo Bracket particularly useful for lighting instruments that do not have dedicated mounting interfaces for utilizing such types of hardware. For example, using Lowel lighting-control hardware with Arri equipment.

The Lobo Bracket should be used specifically to attach lighting-control equipment to cylindrical objects, such as stands or pipes, and can grip cylinders up to 1-1/4″ (3.2 cm) in diameter. Attempting to use the Lobo Bracket to affix to other types of surfaces is not recommended — other clamps are available for more specifc applications.
