The Sony NEX FS100 is a High Definition video camera noted for its extra large Exmor Super 35 CMOS Sensor. The imaging area of this camera matches that of standard Hollywood film cameras. Such a large sensor gives videographers a number of advantages such as increased depth of field, higher sensitivity in low light, less image noise and a wide dynamic range. Capable of shooting in 1920 x 1080P in both quick and slow motion the FS100U is capable of creating a “cinematic” look. The camera’s modular design allows mixing and matching of lenses, microphones and other audio inputs. The FS100U comes paired with an 18-200 mm manual focus lens and a Rode NTG 2 shotgun microphone.
