The Sennheiser ew 100 ENG G3 Wireless Microphone Combo System is a UHF wireless microphone system featuring 1,680 tunable frequencies, 21 frequency banks and 12 frequency presets per bank. This kit includes the EK 100 G3 hot shoe mountable receiver, SK 100 G3 body-pack transmitter with ME2 lavaliere and SKP 100 G3 plug-in transmitter in one package. The plug-in transmitter is useful for connecting a shotgun microphone into a blimp or boom kit so your audio person can roam freely while transmitting back to the receiver. The approximate working range of the transmitter is 490 feet under line of sight conditions. Only one transmitter can be used at a time. The G3 does not supply phantom power to microphones. The lavaliere microphone has a 40Hz to 18Khz frequency response and a signal to noise ration greater than 110dB. The G3 runs on AA batteries and comes with a 1/8 inch to male XLR adapter allowing it to output audio into video cameras and audio recorders.
