The Flolight 512 MicroBeam light is a cool burning LED light. The FloLight 512 MicroBeams put out as much light as a 500watt tungsten light but only use 48.5 watts of electricity. In the field this means your set will stay cooler and there is less chance you will over load an electrical circuit. These lights will work well by themselves or, as they are daylight balanced, they will work well in conjunction with other natural light. If used with other indoor lighting you will need to use color-correcting filters. Built in dimmers allow you to vary the brightness of the light.
